Hello! I’m so glad you stopped by. I'm a watercolor artist living in West Michigan with my husband, and son. I paint detailed subjects paired with lovely, often abstract, watery effects that can be most effectively achieved on my favorite painting surface, kaolin clay panels. I am fascinated by animals and I will never tire of painting them, especially pet portraits. My work is inspired by nature, the Lake Michigan coast, bold color, and fun pattern (especially stripes, you should see my wardrobe - so. many. stripes.)

My highest goal as an artist is to glorify God with the work of my hands and at the same time create art that has meaning and brings joy to my collectors. It is truly such an honor when a collector welcomes one of my paintings into their home.

Like many artists, I can't even remember when my passion for creating first began. It seems like this constant desire to create has always been there. I have a Bachelor of Science in Visual Communication, which has served me well in numerous creative roles over the years - graphic designer, assistant art director, magazine writer, illustrator, photographer, and fine artist.

You can find me in my studio getting lost in the painting process or along the shores of Lake Michigan, with my husband, taking in the beauty of God's creation.
